Experience
I have been teaching both full time and part time for ten years. Since I was a student at university, I started teaching as a tutor, mostly English and Math. I worked mainly with individual student or a small group of 2 to 3 to help them prepare for exams like University Entrance Exam, IELTS, to name but a few. To help my students achieve their goal to pass their exams and furthermore to fully understand the subjects, I created lesson plans tailored made to each student’s ability, and reported their progress to their parents. After graduating form university, I started working as a financial analyst at a securities company, working so much with model and financial statements and financial ratios. Later, I became a investment banking consultant which focus on deal sourcing and execution such as Merge & Acquisition, Equity issuing and exiting, et cetera. Besides, I was asked to become a part time lecturer at a training company focusing on finance course. I was working with them since 2011 and up to now, I have 8 years teaching such subjects as Quantitative, Financial reporting analysis, Fixed income, Portfolio management, Coporate finance… At this position, I usually work with the class ranging from 30 to 60 students and sometimes private tutoring. I need to compile the teaching materials in according to the textbook, build a set of easy-to-understand examples and illustration (other than the technichcal but somehow boring examples in the textbook). At the same time, I share with the students not only knowledge but also the best practice in the industry, what the expert do in real life and they also love that part of the lesson. My students usually share that under my tutoring, they not only understand the subject thoroughly and effectively but also be inspired and have a lot of fun during the class, needless to say that they were having progress in a very fast pace. Therefore, I am confidence that I have experience in explaining concepts and solving questions in an understandable way for students in a wide range of age, from secondary students to experienced officers in banking industry.

Hobbies
I’m currently working as a lecturer at a training company focusing on finance and also a finance consultant. Outside of work, my hobbies include travelling, doing volunteer activities and reading. Im passionate about travelling. When I go travelling to another area or another country, I want to see not only the landscape but also the culture, how people are doing overthere. I realize that I can learn so many thing by going to new places, meeting new people and sharing the ideas. At the same time, go travelling make me understand more about not just the world but also about myself by realizing how I would react or tend to do in different situations. My other hobby is reading and I usually read before going to sleep. However, there is one problem with this habbit which is I could have a almost sleepless night if the book is too interesting to put down. Beside the textbook, I often read either novel, investment or personal development books. Some of my favorite titles can be named as “The thorn bird”, “God father”, “The power of now”… In my opinion, reading is another way to open your eyes and your mind, to reach new destination that you could imagine, to get to know so many interesting things in this world.
